Head Start
Services
PCI's Head Start Program provides
a full range of quality, comprehensive educational, nutritional,
health, and social services to children ages 3 through compulsory
entrance into public school kindergarten.
Services are provided in full
day, part day, and double-session center-based settings for
nine months of the regular public school year, as well as in
full-day settings year-round.
Families that would like to enroll
a child must meet the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services
income guidelines and be a resident of Bexar County Texas. For
a child to qualify for full day service, the parents must be
working, in training, or attending school. If the parents are
not working, in training, or attending school, the child qualifies
for part-day services.
Services are also made available
to children with diagnosed disabilities, providing PCI can meet
their needs.
