PCI Early
Head Start Policy Council
PCI's Early Head Start
Policy Council is comprised of a mixture of community representatives
and parent’s
of enrolled children. The council
assists in setting goals, planning programs and approving
agency personnel policies and funding requests.
The Early Head Start Policy
Council
annually elects a representative to the PCI Board of Directors
and all members of the Policy Council stand
for election or re-election annually. PCI parents serving
on the Early Head Start Policy
Council are charged with informing
parents at the center committee level of the activities of
the Policy Council. All members are charged
with actively promoting the agency within the community.
